Spend time with the artwork

Live rendering, artwork controls, saved images and downloadable viewers.

On this page

Live rendering is the recommended way to experience the artwork. It runs the actual program, including its detail, movement, response to time and available interactions. Use compressed images and animated clips for quick previews or as a fallback when live rendering is impractical.

Open the edition

Select a project and edition, or use its /#/<projectId>/<editionId> link. Choose live render for viewing and display. The viewer also offers still image where the project has a hosted asset; this is a captured output of the work.

Viewing does not require a wallet. A museum can render an edition while its owner keeps the NFT in their own wallet. The viewer's status identifies cached or chain data. An archive's ownership and edition list reflect its snapshot.

Find the controls

Open Artwork controls from the bottom bar or use the small lower-right handle. On a touch device, available controls initially open, then collapse after idle time. Typing and active interactions keep the panel available.

Controls depend on the artwork. A project without supported actions does not receive an invented panel. For PILLARS, Consult (C) and Chronicle (T) provide the corresponding interactions; letters also indicate keyboard shortcuts. Other works expose actions supported by their own code.

Save an output

Where the artwork exposes exports, open Save and choose an available format. An image or clip is a rendering of the work; exporting it does not transfer the edition NFT.

For a longer-lived copy, download the art bundle or whole interface and check the verification page. These packages contain a build snapshot, without future mints or transfers automatically added.

Let time be part of the work

Some pieces evolve while running; others consult the clock or change on a schedule. Reloading may restart a progression or recompute a time-dependent state. Follow the artist's description and record playback conditions when comparing captures.

Keep an edition selected to display that particular work. start museum mode immediately starts the current project’s familiar cycle: a random live edition, a return to its grid, then another random edition. Controls fade when idle. The separate ⚙ Museum settings button optionally customizes projects, edition subsets, collection wallets, timing and presentation, or opens projection mapping. See exhibition setup.
